Opus to Host Third Annual Financial Services Regulatory Forum On Third Party Management
Treasury, OCC, FRB, CFPB, RANE experts, and 100+ major financial services institutions to address requirements for third party management
NEW YORK, March 9, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Opus and RANE (Risk Assistance Network + Exchange) today announced that the 2017 Financial Services Regulatory Forum on Third Party Management will take place on March 16, 2017, at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC.
Entitled “Focus on Third Party Management – Only as Strong as Your Weakest Link,” the third annual Knowledge Forum provides a unique opportunity for financial services firms to benchmark and strengthen their third party risk management programs. Attendees will hear insights, expectations, and recommendations directly from regulators and their peers in the financial services industry who are shaping the next level of third party risk management best practices.
This year’s Knowledge Forum will address:
- Regulatory developments, expectations, and focus over the next 12-24 months
- Key risk factors and metrics for third party risk management across the sector
- Best practices for managing third parties across the relationship lifecycle
Representatives from four regulatory agencies – the U.S. Treasury, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) – will offer their perspectives on current regulatory requirements, where they may be heading, and the implications for your firm.
The forum will also include a keynote interview on the future of third party management with Daniel Alter, Adjunct Professor and Senior Fellow in the Corporate Compliance and Enforcement Program at New York University School of Law and former General Counsel for the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS), and David Lawrence, Founder and Chief Collaborative Officer at RANE.
“Financial services firms are being held to high standards when it comes to managing third-party risk under evolving regulatory expectations,” said Manny Conti, CEO of Opus. “This forum is an exciting opportunity for regulators, financial institutions, compliance experts, and industry leaders to collaborate, share experiences, and exchange knowledge on best practices for creating an effective third party risk management program.”
Attendance is by invitation only – please email firstname.lastname@example.org for registration information.
