Global Security Analyst - Dedicated Client, Healthcare

As a member of RANE’s team of analysts, you will be responsible for developing high-quality and forward-looking analysis and actionable intelligence, related to corporate security, travel safety, business continuity, cyber security, organized crime, global terrorism, and health and environmental crises. In this dedicated analyst role, you will focus on a single client, a leader in the Healthcare sector. On a regular basis you will provide support and strategic analysis of global issues for the client’s Corporate Security/ EP functions, together with reports outlining areas of concern or developing issues that may need additional monitoring. The information and analysis provided will enable leadership to make informed decisions on operational issues for the safety and security of its people, places, and assets, with a particular focus on identifying the intersections of risks, e.g., cyber and physical threats. The dedicated analyst role will be trained in the RANE geopolitical methodology and have the opportunity to partner and interact with colleagues across the broader RANE organization and gain exposure to a range of industries and risk topics, including cyber and information; physical safety and security; and legal, regulatory, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be based in either the U.S. Mountain, or Pacific time zone to facilitate global coverage. 

Responsibilities 

• Conducting research and analysis leveraging open source, as well as proprietary content/data sets, and in-house subject matter experts. 

• Develop and maintain an understanding of threats toward the client. 

• Threat monitoring and associated analytical reporting on known or emerging security risks to the company's people, places, and assets worldwide. 

• Provide proactive actionable intelligence to key client stakeholders in both written and verbal briefing form. 

• Collect, analyze, and distribute security, safety, health, environmental, and business continuity intelligence on a regular basis that may have an impact on client staff and operations. This will include, but is not limited to the following: 

• Physical safety (crime, wrongful detention affecting travelers and expats, kidnapping, terrorism) 

• Political developments (change of governments, elections, protests/rallies, violent public disorder, industrial actions, attempted or successful coups, attempted or successful assassination of political, religious, military figures that impact public order) 

• Freedom of movement (changes in border status, curfews, planned enhancement of security control measures, closure of major arterial roads, airspace control) 

• Armed conflict (inter-state or intra-state conflict, internal security operations, conflict resolution, weapons tests)

• Infrastructure (disruption to critical national infrastructure, essential power failures, food and water shortages, aviation accidents) 

• Natural disasters (earthquakes, wildfires, tsunamis, extreme weather events) o Emergent health issues (evolution of the pandemic, epidemics, health preparedness) 

Key Skills and Competencies

Qualifications

Intelligence Analyst - Client Dedicated

As a member of RANE’s team of analysts, you will be responsible for developing high-quality and forward-looking analysis related to globally significant political, economic, and security developments, as well as topics encompassing corporate security, business continuity, and compliance and reputational risks. In this dedicated analyst role, you will focus on a single client, a leading North America-based retailer with a global presence. The analyst will be based in Vancouver, Canada and will exclusively support the client to anticipate, understand and monitor current and emerging threats to the company’s operations, facilities and personnel. The analyst will be onsite at the client’s premises at least 3 days/ week to support internal briefings and collaborate with the client’s team and other key internal stakeholders. The dedicated analyst will be trained in the RANE geopolitical methodology and have the opportunity to partner and interact with colleagues across the broader RANE organization and gain exposure to a range of industries and risk topics, including cyber and information; physical safety and security; and legal, regulatory and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis leveraging open source information, as well as proprietary content/data sets, and in-house subject matter experts
  • Produce a daily deliverable, develop longer-form content, and provide briefings as appropriate
  • Oversee threat monitoring and associated analytical reporting on known or emerging risks to the company's operations, assets, and employees worldwide

Senior Account Manager - U.S. based

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team supporting the company’s expanding foot print in US and international markets. Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients worldwide, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction to build successful long-term business partnerships.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and close a pipeline of opportunities following a full-spectrum business development process, including prospecting, discovery calls, demos, scoping conversations, proposal development, negotiations and closing

• Implement a consultative sales approach where you learn about your client’s challenges and propose ways of alleviating these challenges with relevant solutions; solutions can encompass one or multiple of our firm’s intelligence subscriptions and advisory service offerings

RANE Account Executive / Manager

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team supporting the company’s expanding footprint in US and international markets. The Account Executive will be responsible for positioning the firm’s product and service offerings with clients in a wide variety of industry verticals, as well as maintaining high rates of renewals (90+%) across our existing book of business. 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and close a pipeline through traditional consultative sales activities (prospecting, discovery calls, demos, proposal reviews, and closing)

RANE Data Analyst

RANE is hiring a Data Analyst to support our growing content collection team. This is a hybrid role where the Data Analyst will have dual responsibilities across our Data Operations and Development teams. The Analyst will gain broad exposure to various aspects of RANE’s product offerings and will play an integral role in creating and maintaining data across the RANE organization. 

The Data Analyst’s primary responsibility is usage metrics and reporting for the company, running existing queries and writing new queries. In this position, the Data Analyst will play an integral in creating Tableau dashboards for broader dissemination of usage metrics across the RANE. The Analyst will work alongside RANE’s Development team as well as 3rd parties in order to create a data infrastructure that supports RANE’s reporting needs. 

The Data Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing customer data to identify platform usage trends for the analyst, product and sales team to make more informed decisions. The Data Analyst will work collaboratively with teams across the organization to determine data efficiencies and establish data governance and standards to ensure data quality.

RANE Data Quality and Acquisition Analyst

RANE is hiring a Data Quality and Acquisition Analyst to support our growing Content and Data Operations team. This hybrid role involves dual responsibilities within our Product and Data Operations teams. The Data Quality and Acquisition Analyst will gain extensive exposure to various aspects of RANE’s internal teams, product offerings, and tools, playing a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across the organization. 

The primary responsibilities of the Data Quality and Acquisition Analyst include monitoring, tracking, and maintaining RANE’s key performance indicators (KPIs) across the company's various business units and customer-facing products. In addition to KPI tracking, you will be instrumental in reviewing and verifying that our machine learning and AI processes adhere to RANE’s quality standards.
